S/O to Akitaca Crab in Modesto, For telling my sister to take her autistic son outside to feed him his nuggets after she let her know he’s autistic & doesn’t eat the food there, because they have a new rule that outside food isn’t allowed. MIND YOU, if you have an autistic child you know they don’t have a huge variety of foods they eat, she was taking her girls since it WAS their favorite restraunt, she’s always taken his own food before as she does at most restraunts. ( NOONE HAS EVER GIVEN HER A PROBLEM ) When i called to speak to the manager, she got on the phone; rude with an awful attitude, argued w me & stated she “ didn’t ask if he was autistic she told me on her own “ and hung up on me twice . Unprofessional and disgusting as a business . Used to really love this place and by reading this year's reviews, seems like there might be new management running it straight to the ground.

We always come here the food is great but today on Father’s Day they are out of lots of food plates like the garlic noodles which is what my toddlers eat, and since they were hungry I went to buy them some chow aun while we waited for our food, and the didn’t let me feed them! I understand that no food is aloud but they could have mad an exception because they didn’t have any noodles! I kindly asked to talk to the manager, and they just brought me a regular waitress and she rudely told me “If you want to FEED THEM GO OUTSIDE!”

My wife and I been eating here about twice a month since it opened. The food was always on point but the service, I’d say it was always okay. Yesterday (1/9/26) was the first time that we actually started with a poor experience. It was busy, so we waited to be seated which didn’t take long. Maybe 15-20 minutes. Once we were seated however, we were forgot about. Didn’t take our drink orders or anything as we watched a couple of tables who were seated after us by several minutes, get their orders taken. One of the employees who was cleaning tables got the attention of bartender Jessica, who not only took our drink orders but served us the whole night. We were seated at a back booth, out of sight from the bar.. But she went above and beyond to make sure we were good. Thank you Jessica.

Love coming here, food was exceptional, atmosphere is always nice I love the music they play the vibe was exactly the music I listen to so I loved it. Jordan was our server and he was great and attentive! Thank you Jordan!!

Came in wanting to try the place since it’s closer to home than Bag O Crab on Pelandale. the music was super loud, we couldn’t hear each other talk. If you’re worried about explicit lyrics don’t go here. After a while it did get busy, but not enough to be ignored by our server. We didn’t get any gloves, any shellfish cracking tools or much besides a bucket for the empty shells. Our server was no where to be found except helping others in another section and on his phone the few times we did see him. After our food arrived. The portions were disappointing, especially for the price. Had to flag down another server to get gloves, drink refills or any service at all. Even though she was busy with her few tables (one being like a table of 12) she was very helpful. I got the fried catfish basket with Cajun fries. The fish was amazing but the service did leave a sour taste in my mouth. But ma that fish was good! To summarize. Food is good, portions are smaller than what I’m used to for a few extra $$$. Music is TOO LOUD. Service was very poor from our server.
